The last week of August 2025 was an incredibly busy yet rewarding networking week for Monpellets.

From August 24–26, 2025, our Director Ms. Delgermaa Shagdarsuren joined the World Women Entrepreneurs’ Forum 2025 as a panelist in the session “Building Green and Inclusive Economies: The Role of Women-led Enterprises.”

Building Green and Inclusive Economies: The Role of Women-led Enterprises at World Women Entrepreneurs’ Forum 2025.

The session highlighted how women entrepreneurs are at the forefront of building green and resilient communities, pioneering solutions that connect economic empowerment with environmental sustainability.

The discussion began with keynote remarks from Her Excellency Chimguundari Navaan-Yunden, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Director of Mongolia’s UNCCD COP17 Preparatory Office, and Ms. Matilda Dimovska, UNDP Resident Representative in Mongolia. It was followed by an engaging panel moderated by Mr. Firuz Saidkhadzhaev, UNDP Climate Finance and Development Economist.

We extend our gratitude to our distinguished panelists and guests for their valuable insights. By linking economic opportunity with climate action, the session underscored how women-led enterprises can drive sustainable markets, advance land restoration, and ensure that no one is left behind in the global green transition.

The discussion showcased how women-led enterprises can connect climate action with economic opportunity, foster sustainable markets, and contribute to global land restoration—ensuring no one is left behind in the green transition.

 

To close the week on August 26th, we were honored to welcome the University of Saskatchewan team together with EccoFarm and Alianaa International, for a fruitful discussion on expanding opportunities for sheep wool fertilizer research and development.   t was our honor to welcome professors from the University of Saskatchewan (USask) led by Dr. Anze Svara together with the @EccoFarm Mongolia project team to our factory. We had a very fruitful meeting, exchanging insights on wool-based fertilizer and exploring opportunities, directions, and advice for future research and development collaboration. As one of Canada’s leading research-intensive universities and a member of the U15 group, the University of Saskatchewan is a global leader in water and food security, vaccine development, infectious diseases, and human, animal, and environmental health.
